WHAT IS A COLOR RUN?

During a Color Run, color powder (details below) gets sprayed on participants throughout the run. Participants wear all-white clothing that turns radiant shades of blue, pink, yellow, and other eye-catching colors, and sunglasses to protect their eyes from the powder. Each station will have a different color. The week of the race, each registrant will receive a shirt and sunglasses.

Students may run during the Owl Prowl Color Run, but some walk or jog the event’s length because it’s untimed. The path will be easily marked with color stations, which they will not want to miss! K-1st grade will be around the track and 2nd-5th will be around the track and school.

AWARDS:

Every participant in the race or color run will receive an awesome runner’s medal! Two total trophies will be awarded in the one-mile 4th and 5th grade race. The first place 4th/5th boy winner and the first place 4th/5th girl winner will each receive a trophy. This is not applicable for the Color Run.
