RACE DAY

  • 1:35 pm: meet at the field for warmups for all runners
  • 2 pm: 4th grade 1 Mile Race with awards
  • 5th grade 1 Mile Race with awards immediately following
  • 2nd and 3rd grade Color Run immediately following
  • Kindergarten and 1st grade Color Run immediately following 
  • 4th and 5th grade final Color Run immediately following
  • Finally, a Teacher Color Run around the flagpole!

*Students must run independently unless assistance is needed.

*Parents have the option to accompany Kindergarten students on the Color Run; peer runners available by request. 

 

 

WHAT IS A COLOR RUN?

During a Color Run, color powder (details below) is sprayed on participants throughout the run. Participants wear light-colored clothing, that turns radiant shades of various eye-catching colors, and sunglasses to protect their eyes from the powder. Each station will have a different color. Students may run, jog or walk the Color Run which is untimed and for enjoyment only! 

 

  

 No refunds will be issued in the event of storms.
